Listing The Top Seven Bars At Rutgers

NEW BRUNSWICK – Marcus Perna loves Olde Queens Tavern at No. 1 because he thinks that they  make the best tasting drinks at this bar.

Perna said, “The drinks aren’t too expensive compared to the other bars here at Rutgers and the deals they run are great”.

The bars here at Rutgers are a big part of the Rutgers culture where students can meet new people or meet up with their friends for a great night out. It's a great way to make a bond with people at this school either during the weekday's or weekends.

Some of this information came from "The Tab", but the list is modified.

He even gets a chance to meet new people as well there.

“I get a chance to meet new people as well through my friends that in fraternities and sororities that I might not know”.

There was one time where Perna said he met some people there last year and they turned into some of my best friends.

There is another bar here that is close to being the top bar here that students also love too.

Jack Shriner agrees with the Scarlet Pub being at No. 2 on this list because Shriner thinks it’s a great bar, but it can get very crowded to the point where you can’t move.

Scarlet Pub was in a competition with some other schools’ bars around the nation and made it to the final four.

Shriner said, The music at this bar is amazing though which definitely makes up for it being so crowded.

He even thinks the drinks are arguable the best at Rutgers.

“The drinks here are great, they put just the right amount of alcohol in them, there are not a lot of other bars here that do that”.

Shriner said, he was in the bar one night and me and the owner of the bar were talking, and he went and got me a VIP card that night.

Now moving onto a bar that is not normally a place everyone goes too but is starting to gain some traction at Rutgers.

Zach Baylees likes Kelly’s Korner being at No. 3 because it’s still a great bar, but it doesn’t get good until around midnight because it is post-game bar.

Baylees said, “The music is great, that one of the main reasons that I go there, and the drinks are pretty good too”.

He always suggests going to Kelly’s after they leave Queens.

Baylees said, “Most of the people that you see at Queens end up going to Kelly’s at the end of the night”.

There was one time when I was out with my friends at Queens and we meet up with a group of girls there, we all left and went to Kelly’s later that same night.
